About Us
The conference co-directors are Elizabeth Pomada and Michael Larsen. Elizabeth and Michael are co-diretors of the San Francisco Writers Conference, now in its eighth year. They are also partners in Michael Larsen-Elizabeth Pomada Literary Agents, which they started in 1972, and authors or coauthors of fourteen books. Check out Michael's new Writing for Change blog.
The San Francisco Writers Conference donates money and services to charities that support writing. SFWC donations have gone to the Children's Book Project, Litquake, WNBA, Books & Booze, high school scholarship recipients and other organizations. SFW4CC management team members give pro-bono speeches at writers conferences and other venues.
Barbara Santos is the sales and marketing director. Richard Santos manages conference registration and the sfwritingforchange.org website.
